I give people space to relax into a deep peacefulness where their bodies can re-balance, leaving them feeling lighter and more connected to themselves again. Clients say I have a gentle style that works deeply and they value my support.
I am a qualified Shiatsu Practitioner and FWSS professional member of the register of the Shiatsu Society UK. I completed 3 years part-time training at the School of Shiatsu Liverpool graduating in 2004, and completed further post-graduate studies with the Shiatsu College UK and at the Aberdeen School of Shiatsu.
I am passionate about natural approaches to women’s health and completed the Holistic Care for Maternity Diploma for Shiatsu Practitioners in 2011 with Suzanne Yates. www.wellmother.org This includes beneficial and relaxing Shiatsu techniques for Pregnancy, Birth, Mothers and Babies.
I have completed the Foundations Year for the Eden Method based on the teachings of Donna Eden which I love and really complements Shiatsu well. I have also studied Reiki.
I am always exploring new ways of working with Shiatsu to support my clients and I have regular supervision too.
I can work with people in-person, or online guided Shiatsu sessions or distance healing Shiatsu.
As well as Shiatsu, I love yoga, walking, and being outdoors at our allotment and outdoor swimming. Our cat Teddy is our relaxation guru : )
